This is a bit darker than my usual fair, but it came as a piece and I don’t tend to argue when they hit me like this. \u00a0Maybe someday I’ll find out the rest of the story.<\/em><\/p>\n

Sing a song of six pence
\nPocket full of ash.
\nFour and twenty goblins
\nGroan beneath the lash.<\/p>\n

Now they haul behind them
\nA dark and wicked thing,
\nBound with dire enchantment
\nPresented to the King.<\/p>\n

Chains of shadow binding
\nA cursed and wicked soul,
\nNow made to answer
\nAnother wicked goal.<\/p>\n

The King now is laughing
\nAt his captive’s plight
\nBut a goblin maid takes pity
\nin the endless night.<\/p>\n

A key is found and stolen.
\nA binding broken fast.
\nAnd the two escape together
\nThough the respite cannot last.<\/p>\n

The guards run hot behind them.
\nTheir flight now is known.
\nBut the curse turns on its maker
\nAnd all that\u2019s left are bones.<\/p>\n
