Somewhat later than I intended, but a little bit of light for your day. I hope you enjoy it.<\/em><\/p>\n

The candle light now trembles
\nIn the growing gloom.
\nThe hand that holds it wavers
\nIt shows so little of the room.<\/p>\n

Yet other voices whisper
\nBoth with hope and fear
\nAnd the candle is still burning
\nShowing what is there.<\/p>\n

Some voices come eager
\nAnd crowd into the light
\nAnd speak hope into the darkness
\nAnd so defy the night.<\/p>\n

Some voices hide in shadows
\nAfraid to be made known
\nAnd huddle close together:
\nAnother strength is shown.<\/p>\n

Where e’re the light is falling,
\nThe darkness cannot stay
\nThe bitter winds are calling
\nBut night must give way.<\/p>\n

Another candle sharpens
\nAnd brings another glow
\nAnd brings courage in the darkness
\nWhere some voice fear to go.<\/p>\n

And so the voices raising
\nUp into the night
\nAnd the darkness cannot stand
\nAs they walk into the light.<\/p>\n
