Before the sun comes up
\nAnd the noisy day begins,
\nIn the quiet of the darkness
\nThe press of \u2018hurry\u2019 thins.<\/p>\n

Listen in the stillness
\nFor the soft beloved voice
\nThat so often is forgotten
\nAs we face life\u2019s every choice.<\/p>\n

A simple prayer for guidance
\nA simple prayer for hope
\nA simple prayer for loved ones,
\nAs they struggle still to cope.<\/p>\n

Before taking up the burden
\nThat comes with each new day
\nPause for just a moment
\nTo hear what He has to say.<\/p>\n
