In the hands of a righteous heart, a wooden sword is a mighty weapon against foes only children see.<\/em><\/p>\n

I have a sword that\u2019s made of wood
\nWith it I protect all that\u2019s good.
\nWhether in the garden or in my room
\nEvil things will meet their doom!<\/p>\n

Papa made my faithful sword
\nFrom some timber and a board.
\nMy mother wants me too take care
\nShe doesn\u2019t see what\u2019s lurking there!<\/p>\n

She doesn\u2019t see the goblins lurking in the shed.
\nShe doesn\u2019t see the dragons underneath the bed.
\nShe doesn\u2019t see the gryphons soaring up on high.
\nShe doesn\u2019t see the fairies when they\u2019re passing by.<\/p>\n

So I take my wooden sword everywhere I go.
\nAnd stand ready to battle each and every foe.
\nWith my sword beside me, there is no need to fear
\nI can do battle with every terror here!<\/p>\n
