This is set to a jauntier tune in my head than perhaps it should be. In any event I hope you enjoy this little monster hunting song.<\/em><\/p>\n

The foe is waiting for us and we shall track him down
\nBefore he brings his terrors to another simple town.
\nRide we both together, never hunt alone
\nFor the lonely hunter finds he\u2019s never coming home.<\/p>\n

Though sharp teeth clack together, and wolves howl in the wood
\nStill we hunters will pursue him, while he may be withstood.
\nRide now boldly onward, though battle may yet come.
\nTwo hunters of the darkness, cutting in the sun.<\/p>\n

As the first word rent the darkness and ushered in the dawn
\nSo we hunt the angry fragments of the sund\u2019ring\u2019s bitter wrong.
\nRide until the dawning: terror stalks at night;
\nSeize the failing spirits, and bring them to the light.<\/p>\n

Some foes be great and wicked, others too far gone.
\nWe follow in the darkness and put an end to wrong.
\nRide into the furnace that lights the fires of hell,
\nThere will come a story can never tell.<\/p>\n

When chains of darkness bind you, in spite of strength and will,
\nBolster then your spirit and defy fate\u2019s bitter pill.
\nRide your sacred calling to the bitter end.
\nYou may yet discover some will still defend.<\/p>\n

There will yet come for you, brothers of sword and soul,
\nYou are not abandoned, be you broken or yet whole.
\nRide out from the darkness. it cannot keep you chained.
\nThough you may find your freedom in death\u2019s final cut obtained.<\/p>\n
