The Future Woven

I am back!  (Yes, this means I can see again, functional glasses achieved!)  Here is a touch of whimsy and hope in celebration.  I hope you enjoy.

Spin and weave the future
Soft within your hands
Spurn the fate’s illusions
As the truth demands.

Cup Always for a moment
Watch its wings gently beat
Release it to the currents
As time follows dark and fleet.

The stillness of forever
Anchors time’s fleeting drive
And the reflected light of heaven
Impells the living again to strive.

Questions lurk in spirits
That seek the future’s weave
Yet the hands that work most truely
Just know that they believe.

They see, however dimly,
A bright and shining way,
And follow, however grimly,
The path from night today.
