Thinking through a scene in a story (way down the line) and this hit me. Struck me as something folk might find hopeful.
Call the names lost in the night.
Call the names back to the light.
Call the names lost and alone.
Call the names and bring them home.
Where e’er their souls be lost or bound
Call them home to be found
What ever binding chains their soul
Call them now and rend control.
Call the names lost in the night.
Call the names back to the light.
Call the names lost and alone.
Call the names and bring them home.
Where darkness smothers lost and found
Then call them home to joy profound.
Where sorrow sinks down dark and deep
Call them back where e’re they sleep.
Call the names lost in the night.
Call the names back to the light.
Call the names lost and alone.
Call the names and bring them home.
Through blackest night till dawn of day
Call them home from far away.
No matter the paths of wandering feet,
Still call them home and kindred greet.
Call the names lost in the night.
Call the names back to the light.
Call the names lost and alone.
Call the names and bring them home.
