Something bright for you. I hope you enjoy it.
The stars sing in the gloaming
To little fairy ears
The dragon pauses his roaming
And remembers all he hears.
The children come to the window
Though they should be in bed,
And in the light of the fire glow
Hear all the stars have said.
Soft some brave souls creeping
Into the moonless night
And in the evening’s keeping
They dance under faint star light.
Simple hearts stand watching
While the cunning like in bed
As the Fair Folk come marching
And greet them as guests instead!
When the feast at last is over
And all find their way back home
The wonder shines in the clover
And the stars burn bright, alone.
